I’m Davionna. After attending Lew Wallace High School in Lake County, I received free tuition to IUPUI because I was a 21st Century Scholar. In high school, I worked hard in my classes and in a local grocery store to get a solid foundation, but I wanted something bigger for myself. No one in my family had gone to college, so when I heard about 21st Century Scholars from my school counselor, I realized this program could help me be the first in my family to graduate with a college degree.

21st Century Scholars helped me tremendously. It covered tuition, gave me collegiate resources to use as a first-generation student, and linked me to great mentors who helped me tremendously. Now I have a Marketing and Supply Chain Management degree and am an Allstate Insurance and Real Estate Agent.
